David Kuo

Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, National Tsing Hua University

With 34 years of experience in both the semiconductor and software industries, he led Cycle Time improvement programs at TSMC and Macronix, earning strong recognition from both industry and academia. He specializes in smart manufacturing and AI technologies, with research published in top international journals, including work that received the IEEE Best Paper Award.

Max Tu

M.S. in Information Technology, National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University

With nearly 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and software industries, he participated in the planning and development of TSMC’s 12-inch wafer CIM system and successfully built smart manufacturing systems—including smart scheduling and automated material handling systems—laying the foundation for TSMC’s smart manufacturing capabilities.
